      LONDON ART PORTFOLIO is located in Central London, in a listed building right by Tower Bridge.

      London Art Portfolio is run by Julia Dennis, a practicing artist who exhibits regularly nationally and internationally. London Art Portfolio offers BESPOKE art and design portfolio preparation courses and personal support in fine art, painting, sculpture, fashion and textile design, fashion photography, animation and illustration. Julia offers bespoke one-one portfolio preparation tutorials, in addition to a range of portfolio preparation courses.

      In 2008, Julia set up London Art Portfolio in Wapping, London. Within a few years LAP transferred to a floor of studios in a historic listed building next to Tower Bridge, in the heart if London. Due to an ever-increasing interest in the preparation of art, design and architecture portfolios from students in the UK, Europe and across the globe, London Art Portfolio has recently become a limited company. Many of our students return to study at London Art Portfolio throughout their studies and professional careers.

      In addition, London Art Portfolio is increasingly successful at advising and preparing students that have a dream to study in art, design or architecture who already hold an academic degree. Through either the 24 Week Portfolio Programme or intense blocks of one-one tuition, London Art Portfolio can prepare you for direct entry onto a Masters Degree applications in a specialist field of art, design and architecture, which includes fashion and graphic design. This requires absolute dedication and determination to succeed; to follow our programme closely and to fully attend. If you have this within you we can help you get there.

      London Art Portfolio delivers 1 week enrichment courses as well as 4 week, 6 week, 12 week, 18 week and 24 week course programmes for portfolio preparation and development. In addition we run focused fun portfolio development courses for students 18 and under. This is a great way to prepare early for your future goals and aspirations and be ahead of everyone else. The Summer Course programme is proving a great success as well as our new Evening Art Classes and Half-Term Courses. These can be block-booked to create your own personal Art and Design programme.

      We also have a unique group size of 12-15 students maximum per group/studio. This enables all students to reach their full potential and be successful. It also helps to give that extra support you may be searching for if you are also an International student and English may not be your first language. All of our staff on our courses are experienced and can give you the valuable support you are looking for.

      Course Structure
      Monday – Thursday 9am – 4pm
      Tuition: 9am - 12noon
      Lunch: 12noon-1pm (we have a lovely communal kitchen for all students!)
      Free studio access and desk space: 1pm - 4pm for independent study

      The 24 week portfolio development course consists of two half term breaks and the Christmas break. At the end of the course, students will have covered all the fundamental skills and idea development in Art and Design to present for any of the following:
      - direct BA Degree applications
      - pre-Degree applications at foundations level (if this is necessary)
      - Post-Graduate Masters applications
      - a professional career portfolio
      - opportunity for internships at a top artist studio, design studio or fashion house

      London Art Portfolio prepares students for different levels of art and design development through ongoing portfolio support and direction, dissertation research and support. As well as preparing students for Foundation, Degree courses and career development, Julia also provides support for IB, AS and A2 Level students wishing to improve their grades in Art based subjects. Equally, for those looking for guidance in arranging and selecting material for their portfolios.

      For committed students this can also lead to receiving a very supportive reference from London Art Portfolio for you Foundation, UCAS Undergraduate or Masters applications. We have a close working relationship with University of the Arts London, University of Creative Arts London, London College of Fashion, Goldsmiths, Brighton Art School, UCA Epsom, University of Edinburgh, Oxford Brookes, Ravensbourne and many more art and design education institutions!

      The Portfolio Course timetable is:

      Monday-Thursday each week
      9am-12noon: Tuition contact time each day
      12noon-1pm: Lunchtime
      Lovely kitchen available to socialise and get to know each other
      1pm-4pm: free studio space and desk space available upon request, to continue your independent study!

      Our courses therefore give you full time opportunity and flexibility with your free time! It is also a great way to improve your English language skills in art and design!
